Pipettes calibration

Scope

In our calibration laboratory we provide accreditted calibration of pipettes from 0,1 μL. The calibretions are performed according to the ISO 8655 and NCCLS Guidelines using reference equipment traceable to national and international standards.

Exova METECH provides accredited calibration of all types of pipettes and preferably using the customer's own pipette sharpener. We can also provide and perform calibration with the user as the operator, whereby we provide the required calibration documentation.

Exova METECH also provides accredited calibration of multiple-channel pipettes in the number of channels that they are used with. In addition, we provide calibration of other volumetric equipment, such as volumetric flasks and diluters.

Calibration certificates are stored at Exova METECH and thereby help to support each pipette's performance, which can then be referred to on an ongoing basis.

Test and service

A leak test of the pipette is carried out as part of the calibration, to check that it is mechanical proof and that the piston is functioning optimally. We are also able to adjust and repair pipettes and, to ensure the end result, the whole operation finishes with a calibration.
